Just seen that complete incompetent Skomina has been announced as the ref for the final. We've lost all but 1 of the 5 previous ties he has officiated, the last one being the semi in Rome last season.

Although the one win was our recent 1-0 Vs Napoli to send us through to the knockout stage.

I'm confident about this which in itself is a worry, as that could in itself lead to a monumental kick in the balls.

All  things being equal though I just don't see them having enough ammo to stop us. They remind me of the Rogers side that nearly won the league, a handful of top players scoring all the goals and causing all the damage, but knob-all underneath and if you isolate them they're mediocre.

If you pick the likely lineups and compare the players, I’d only have Alderweireld as better than Matip and maybe Eriksen over Gini, even though they aren’t exactly like for like.

Kane scores more goals than Bobby, no question about that, but for this Liverpool side then Bobby is a much better fit. He’s my only worry really, if he’s fit for the final then I think we’ll have too much for them. I hate feeling overconfident though.

Alisson V Lloris

Trent V Trippier

Matip V Alderweireld

VVD V Vertonghen

Robertson V Rose

Fabinho V Sissoko

Henderson V Alli

Gini V Eriksen

Mane V Son

Salah V Moura

Firmino V Kane

We’re better all over the pitch than them, their form is shocking in 2019, Klopp’s record against Pochettino is great. The motivation from our side couldn’t be bigger after last years disappointment and this season’s heartbreak at finishing runners up, I think our experience from last year will be a hugely significant advantage, we’ll be a lot cooler and familiar than last year and I fully expect us to be lifting that cup.

I think their best chance, and what would most worry me they’re clear-eyed about coming out on top on the night, would be to forget any ideas of playing a patched-up, half-fit Kane. Stick him in the stands in his full-kit ready to give it John Terry should they win.

Fully expect them to shoehorn him in the minute he inevitably announces himself fit to play, and while he’ll no doubt score and affect the match, I just think it will impact how tough a nut they are to crack as a unit.

Always long distance running races and elite level pressing exhibitions aren’t they, matches between us two. Let Captain Mongoloid make it all about him and hopefully the knock-on effect to them all physically will tell for us.

We haven't hit the top heights when we've had a break this season, hope this longer break won't completely fuck up our rhythm.

Dunno why but I get the feeling in my stones that Sallah will underperform in  this match and that goals will come from elsewhere, possibly a Big Virg header and TAA free kick.

After last years antics I think you’ll see Salah at his hungriest, I think he’ll be absolutely determined to make a telling contribution in this final.

I hope Mo Salah shoves his Golden Boot up Harry Kane's arse and the outcome of this is a 5-0 win to Liverpool. And then at the end Sadio Mane also shoves his Golden Boot up Harry Kane's arse.

It’s very hard to see us winning this one but I’ll retain some degree of hope until it’s over.

Can you please elaborate as to why you believe that. Just saying it without any reason why would suggest you are a fucking imbecile who is just coming the cunt.

Will be interesting to see how the occasion impacts Spurs too, we've - ahem - been here before.

The key for me. The occasion may well be too much them whilst we know all about it and bad it feels to lose.

I'm convinced he wil be.  Let's hope that doesn't adversely affect his game.  I prefer relaxed, chilled-out Salah.

Who knows. Although you wonder if there’s a bit more on the shoulders of players who know their club has never won it before. The last team to win the Champions League in its first CL or European Cup final was Borussia Dortmund in 1997.

With that said, I just don’t want to end up being a fucking Juventus-alike. Five finals since they last won it in '96, five losses, with the third one being against domestic opposition who'd finished lower than them in the league.
