In La Liga, Barcelona won the title in 2009/10 with 99 points, with Real Madrid finishing 3 points behind having scored more, conceded more and lost more games than Guardiola's team. That seems comparable to this season's PL title race.

Guardiola has been here before, when he beat Pellegrini's Real Madrid with 3 point in the 09/10 season.

1. Barca 99 points
2. Real M 96 points
3. Valencia 71 points.

After 35 games that season Barca had 90 points and Real Marid had 89 points.

I did not look on the second page before I made my post, a massive error.

My post has nice colors though.

The head to head in Spain meant that 3 point gap was essentially 4.

I remember feeling sorry for Pelligrini for not winning it with 96 points,  even if I cant stand Madrid. I got a soft spot for Pellegrini after his Villarreal days and to get sacked after getting a record point tally for your club is just crazy.

On the face of it, he's right. If you're in the 90+ points range you probably 'deserve' the title. We deserver it. They deserve it on their performances too. Yes there are other factors, but still...

Now fuck off and lose, you cunts.

But we deserve it more.
