Well obviously social media did not exist so there wasn't a constant narrative like now through forums, twatter etc.

24 hours news coverage wasn't a thing either, so every story wasn't done to death - and there obviously wasn't websites with space to fill...

But it was a story that upset people.

It still angers me to this day and I don't buy any excuses he peddles. He was always a man who seeked 'riches' and the limelight and I don't believe he's really changed despite how he shapes it.

I find it very difficult to 'excuse' him and he was bang out of line.

I don't doubt his feeling for club or his remorse for it though.

'Don't give him a chance to dive'  That's shocking from Keown.  We pay a licence fee for this shit.

He's clarified that it is a foul.

Still talking about previous though... they were all fouls as well you twats!

Yeah, given that he thought it was a foul and a penalty that’s a bizarre choice of word, because 'dive' suggests no foul. Jenas was 100% correct in saying that he HAS to go to ground when blatantly fouled or the penalty won’t be given.

Referees need to be told to give fouls when they occur, not only when the player on the receiving end hits the floor.

MOTD commentator, what a dick. Same goes for Keown. Dive? What's Mo supposed to do when the idiot is practically wrestling him? So thick these cunts in the media.

They've built up a narrative on Salah now.
