I don't think anybody was "awful" today. We just struggled to get into a flow against a deep lying team who looked to stifle us. Firmino and Henderson should've had the game sealed earlier than it was. But, that was fairly comfortable and I was fairly impressed with how we stayed patient and didn't panic. Matip and Keita both played well. Mane never stopped. Second half, Firmimo's pressing higher up the pitch gave us a better, more advanced base to counter from. 

 

A good team performance.

Get in! Cardiff are deservedly going down and on the whole we've been rather good at putting away these type of teams this season. Just have to hope against hope City blink now.

 

Another interesting point is that we're only 6 behind City now on goal difference. We need to really try and go for it against Huddersfield on Friday and try to close that gap.
