This is spooky: 

 

The last time we won the league in 1990, we had more points than the second placed team. If the same happens this year, we win the league again.

 

Forward to five people before noon today or else we’ll re-sign Stewart Downing.

In 2005 Ken and Deirdre Barlow got married and we won the European Cup.

 

In 1981 Ken and Deirdre Barlow got married and we won the European Cup, the League Title and the League Cup.

 

In 1977 Ken finger banged Deirdre in the ginnel behind the Rovers Return we won the European Cup and the League Title (and lost in the final of the FA Cup).

 

2019 Deirdre is dead and has been for four years. Make of that what you will

Not really a superstitious person but this has freaked my nut right out. It's on.

 

EDIT - I've also pored through the history books and it appears this has been the case the other 17 times we won the league too?!
