Taking my lad to this tomorrow which will be his first Anfield game and he's really excited. I used to go quite regular late 90's early 2000's but been a bit sporadic since family stuff comes along.

However, this will be my second "game" this season, the last time I attended more than one game in a season was 2004/05 in Rafa's first season and we won the CL.

It's on.

Same here, taking my lad to his first game.

His mums side are all blue mancs, I've been promising him that Liverpool are gonna win the league this year so this might be my best chance to get him on side before his mum corrupts him. If City win it then I fear I may have lost him.

Remember trekking across the rubble towards the Atatürk like it was yesterday. Sad that time has reduced it to a 'legend'. I imagine there'll be a lot of fans in attendance at the game who weren't even alive then - weird to think of it.

On the plus side - just saw that the final is back in Istanbul next year. Omen.

Just back and the lad loved it. Pirlo was boss, just oozed quality on the ball and his passing was ridiculous.

“Sorry, you cannot add any more reactions today”

Probably just as well, as I’d be tempted to neg you for the misuse of the world ridiculous  (makes it sound like Pirlo gave the ball away all match), which would feel cuntish, given it was your lad’s first game at Anfield.

Everything from this morning seeing my ex (his mum) and her face dropping when I tell her that I'm taking him to his first ever football match, to his smiling face when we first walk up the steps as he's faced with the massive main stand, probably the the biggest thing he's ever seen in his life. All the way up to seeing the excitement in him at stevie scoring the last minute winner.

Fucking hell, I'm crying just writing this, if it isn't one of his best ever memories then it is certainly one of mine.

Nice one mate, struggled not to cry myself at that last line there.
