Should have had no problem with that header, thankfully he did.

I can only assume he was too set on his left foot covering the near post, so didn't adjust his weight to get behind the header quite as well as he'd have wanted. Sadio was absolutely cleaning up anything that got through to the back post too, so I guess that's what is meant by making your own luck.

It's still an error, but it's not like it was straight at him and just bounced off his chest.

Yeah obviously all the things that have gone their way are not at all dubious.

nobheads.

our conspiracy theories are much better than other clubs.  Other clubs' fans have a go at the 'obvious bias' against their club in the BBC, Sky, printed media, referees and officials, the FA, the EPL, the money men etc, whereas we... erm... oh hang on...

Only Fulham have taken less points the last 5 games - I remember when they weren't going to Spurs it up.

But they have.

I haven't been paying much attention to them of late and I was surprised when I seen the table last night and how far they had dropped.

Classic Spurs.

Still convinced Alderweireld could've got to it, but pulled his leg back. The things men will do for a Klopp hug.

It was such a strange set of circumstances. Lloris palms out a soft header, it hits Alderweireld and goes towards the net, Lloris goes for it but can't react quickly enough and Alderweireld pulls his leg back because he thinks Lloris is going to get it.

Not that I'm arsed like

Lloris is a top keeper who makes mistakes like they all do, earns his club many points a season.   Much preferably to a clown in goal who can't keep the ball out of the net.

Glad he made a clanger yesterday, could have easily been our top keeper getting slaughtered if the ball bounced differently on one or two occasions.

Agreed -- what the fuck was Alisson thinking shitting out of that header??

From the replay it looked like he headed it ok but it rebounded off Milner before dropping back into the area.

3rd to 6th in the league table are looking good for us now. Nothing separating them.

Spurs and Manchester United have no choice but to be competitive in their games against City.

Thats why that win so cruicial Spurs have to turn up at Etihad for top 4, United is derby and add in Palace and Burnley away both fighting relegation no easy games there

It's a win and that's all that matters but it continues the conservatism and reactive nature we've seen from Klopp since the start of the year that is really frustrating and that will probably fuck us at some point.

We should not have won this. Teams are taking it to us and we're getting lucky. Fair enough if it continues and we win the title, but I think that's unlikely the way we're playing.

I think it's more unlikely that we are still top of the league against this man city team. They are incredible, the best team the premier league has ever seen (imo)

Klopp isnt perfect and neither is this Liverpool side but i think it's important to realise what they are doing before we say it's all down to luck, bad management or poor play. We just don't give up, and that's what football is all about sometimes.

A champions league final last year, Top of the league, going toe to toe with a financial powerhouse, still in the quarter finals of the UCL this season. The development of this squad is brilliant and that's down to the manager.

Sure we could play better and Klopp could make better decisions but they are obviously feeling the pressure just like all the fans. Fair fuck's to them to keep pulling out results with the weight of expectation and hope they are carrying around from millions of supporters around the world. Not to mention their own desire and ambition to achieve something (especially since they've lost 3 finals in a row)

"Heavy legged" Klopp said in his press conference. That's pure pressure, nothing to do with fitness. Klopp's tactics or substitutions won't really effect that at this stage. Maybe a little but not as much as you may think mate. They are doing brilliant and it doesn't matter how they play now, just dig in and grind through it and hope it goes our way.

We aren't going to walk to our first title in 29 years by playing amazing football and blowing teams away for 38 games. The first one will always have to be won this way. I'm immensely proud of this side and our manager, i just hope they can win it for us and themselves, they deserve it.

Bad enough when we are up against a one city team. When it is comprised from many cities, we have no chance...
