Christ, we made hard work of that. Felt like spurs were the better team but we seemed to be "managing the game". 

 

OK, Mo got the assist on the og, but where has the player gone from last season. Seems to be making all of the wrong decisions at every critical moment which is costing us goals. 

 

Big mention to VVD for expertly meaning the 2 on 1 situation to ensure that Sissoko had to take the shot on with his wrong foot..

That 2v1 piece of defending from Virgil van Dijk towards end of match is what helps Liverpool go on to win the game. Top defending and decision making at its best. Wrong decision in that spilt second scorline is opposite way round #worldclass #LIVTOT

Well we certainly didn't do all of the above, but we still managed the first bit in bold, and should really have Klopp and co offering up the second. Hell, call it a jammy win, say Spurs played like future title contenders, whatever it takes for them to go into the City games (especially the league game) with something to say.
