Not sure if this has been posted on here somewhere before, but it's quite an interesting dialect quiz (including the vital barm/ bap/ batch/ roll etc question). It also shows you where the words are most commonly used-

Its obviously bread but baked in a cake shape. Its not a loaf so its a barm. Bet you Southerners eat it with a knife and fork.
