I get a sausage roll from Greggs (in Scotland) most days & it's never happened to me.

I can only assume you were served by a complete & utter maniac.

Yep.

In fairness, it wouldn't be the first time Fugitive made something up.

We never got those Ibiza slags photos he promised 10 years ago.

Never forget.

Just asked around, and so it is (piece and chips = chip buttie). No wonder I get funny looks if someone asks for a bacon or sausage piece and I give it to them on a roll, they're probably cursing the foreigner and his weird ways.

Do you work in a cafe?

Great article this. Five ‘delicacies’ you might miss if you leave Glasgow. Basically they’ve just deep fried anything they can get their hands on including pizza and the contents of Cadbury world.

One of the lads got a deep fried Haggis from the Lobster pot when we were out a few weeks ago so that’s worked its way down here for a start.

Battered haggis from the Lobster Pot is fucking lovely. I used to eat them all the time. Made sure I stopped for one last time I was up there. Their salt & pepper chips are weird though. Completely different to any other chippy and stupidly hot.

And yeah, it’s a chip barm.
