No such thing as a banker.

Indeed. Have a quick look at "Ruby Walsh" in the Twitter search bar. He's getting some vitriol and accused of being corrupt. Horses fall. If you can't accept that and are going to lose your shit when it happens to one you've backed, tough titties. Get over it. Or, don't gamble.

And don't bet on an odds-on favourite that has hardly run in a year.

It happens too often where he’s concerned. Not just here at Cheltenham. Fucking worlds finest stunt man. He deserves every penny he gets from his paymasters.

25p down for the day.

Despite picking winners at 10/1, 5/1, 6/1 and 14/1. But not all in the same bets. I put 7 different multiples on. Might do a few less different bets tomorrow.

So far, I like the looks of:

Battleoverdoyen in the first.

Topofthegame in the 2:10

Ballyandy and Tully East in the 2:50

Band Of Outlaws in the 4:50

Not bad in the end. Won on Espoir D'Allen at 18s off a tenner free bet - £117.50 back somehow, which I don't get.

Started the day on £26 in the account and finished on £102.50

Great day now - I cashed £50 out and left the rest in to bet tomorrow. Then saw I had a £10 casino bonus, so had a blast while I made tea. It was one of them you have to bet 20 times to get some out, then another 20 for the rest. Ended up withdrawing £30 then £85 off the cunts. So that’s £165 I’ve withdrawn off 2 free tenner bets today, with £50 left in the kitty. Bobby fucking dazzler!

I had this argument with a few mates earlier. It's funny how this sort of thing never happened to McCoy for example. Statistically it is near on impossible for Ruby to find himself in this position time and time again unless there was another reason other than a bit of bad luck with the horse. It's unheard of that a top jockey like him would have this happen time and again. I'm beyond believing that it's bad luck anymore, and that's not sour grapes.

He absolutely took BDD down today. He went early at the last on purpose. I'm convinced of it after watching it a few times over.

I’m no racing expert, but as I’d backed it, I was shouting “what the fuck are you stopping for?!” as he approached the fence. Hope that helps shed some light on it. Probably like when people who know nothing about football try and talk to me about it and you all glazed over half way through.

You know more about racing than I do for sure but seems unlikely a jockey would deliberately fall when they risk injury to themselves and a very valuable horse. Can't see how coming down over a fence at speed can be done in a controlled and safe way no matter how experienced a rider is on board. Also if it ever came to light he had done it deliberately, presumably for a  kick-back, he would be banned for life and possible jailed. Why would someone of Walsh's wealth and standing want to risk all that ?

Anyway Zonks more importantly what are today's tips ? I need some dosh !!
