Googling "How to remove french polish", and as I'm typing it's suggesting I want "How to remove friend from Snapchat". Can we not have a separate internet for adults?

Reminds me of this:

  • 1 year later...

The term 'self care' has me really flustered at the minute, mainly as all I think of is women taking a long bath and having a dalliance with the shower head on full.

'I'm going to make time for some self care tonight, everybody should take some time for self care'

'You're going home for a wank and a rub down in Nivea, aren't you?'

Otherwise apparently intelligent people choosing to define another person 100% purely by their political views.

Its tribal and its fucking puerile. Knock it off.

Someone's political views are the easiest way to work out where they stand on important social issues. Easiest way to spot a cunt too, so no, it's not fucking puerile to judge someone based on their political alignment. Hell I'd go so far as to say that unless you know someone well their political leanings will tell you more about said person's attitude towards people in general (ie everyone thats not them and their close family) than just about any other single piece of information.

And to add to your post on the other thread one thing the younger generation has got right is not giving people a pass on their political beliefs because "we don't talk about politics over dinner", fair play to them for it, if someone is a racist cunt that votes for a party that enables a racist twat to spew hate then they deserve to be called out for it, whether that person happens to be chowing down on a turkey leg at the time or not is irrelevant.

Plus I did mention obvious caveats.

I know a lot of people say it, and on here, but when did it become fashionable to start off what you're about to say with the word So? when it's not a continuation of something previously said.

Does it subconsciously creep in to the way you say things, like that Australian rising tone thing? My brother is murder for that crime.

It must do though, as it can't be like those twats who talk that half Caribbean shit whatever it is, getting up in the morning and having to remember put on an accent that's not your own must be hard work, tryin orl der not to let it it slip.

Nothing against the Caribbean accent I might add, though fuck me that's difficult to comprehend sometimes as in when I was talking to a mates mate  an older chap they call Dada, it took me ages to get what he's was on about, he used to do some shagging down Bibbys Lane Bootle and used to go to that rave club down there, the ex snooker hall

I can't think of it, we got there in the end though.

"Reach out".

Fuck off.

This reach out thing is truly irritating because it is now so pervasive in the US. "CNN has reached out to the senator for comment". No, CNN you didn't "reach out", you contacted him by sending an e-mail asking if the allegations in your news segment were true. You didn't get in touch with a priest from the Clonard monastery asking him to find a way of delivering a message that you may be willing to sit down and talk with the senator at a secret location under the condition of absolute deniability about the possibility of making the first move towards resolving the issue at hand.
