Even if the footballing gods shit on us again, Id rather be where we are than fighting to finish 4th, 5th or 6th in a good season.

It's more than a "bit of a hiccup".  We've blown a seven point lead.

And we’re a point off top with nine

games left. It’s reasonable to assume that with the players we have, our form will pick up again soon. 

 

Of course the title will be even more difficult and less likely after today, but why do people insist on bursting their own bubble? It’s rare enough that we’re actually in a title race, yet a fair proportion on here seem to want to convince themselves and others that it’s already over. It could still go either way yet. 

 

Maybe some miss the safe excitement of a late surge for fourth or fifth place, 30 points behind the league winners.

Just to add to the negativity, I'd argue we have the harder run of games left too. Really can't see where City will drop any points, except maybe at United. Us on the other hand, on current form there's a few games left where failure to win is a real possibility...
