Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

Thanks

Dave

Rodgers to Leicester

From Puel to Rodgers, it would seem Leicester are going for a change in approach.

All the best to him. No pesky European games for him to worry about either!

This is a bad move for him. Leicester is no win, they are the same as Everton, Wolves, Watford or Bournemouth just with deluded expectations.

Quite a few Chelsea fans tweeting about wanting him there. Success for Leicester (I know they won the title but that was just a one off) is about 8th in the league and maybe a decent cup run. If thats what he wants fine, fuck him. Truth is he will see Leicester as a stepping stone. If he does well he gets another shot at a top 6 premier league club. Thats his motive. Nothing wrong with ambition but he had his first proper challenge at Celtic this season and he has left on the cusp of greatness up there.

This Time, with Brendan Rodgers.

All joking aside, mid-forties was far too young for Rodgers to retire despite how things ended here, so it’s good to see him getting back into professional football.

Good luck to the bloke.

Moreno, Lallana, Lovren, and Mignolet would be great additions to that Leicester squad. Wonderful human beings.

But Andre Wisdom and his thighs. Beautiful. Wee Joe the technician......

Russ is back. Where have you been? Prison? Marooned on a desert island? Locked in Pete Price's basement?

Our daughter was born in October 2017, she is amazing, though a total whirlwind. I also received the gift of Type 1 diabetes in 2017, so I've ended up with barely any posting time mate.

If ever a shit joke needs posting though, I'll be here.

Walking away now and not in the summer is stupid. On-course for another treble and seeing off the Gerrard/r*ngers turnaround would be his greatest achievement in Football.

It's not like there much to go on.

Congratulations to you both. Commiserations to your daughter, who'll have to suffer the jokes until she can escape to Uni. Anyway, nice to see you even if only fleetingly.

Is that Rodgers or Brent? Works well for both.
