Rodgers to Leicester

I firmly believe he didn't have a clue, and virtually every decision that worked out was through sheer luck or the individual quality of the player shining through. Sterling was good as a number 10 because he's a class player. Gerrard succeeded as a DM because it's motherfucking Steven Gerrard. Suarez worked anywhere because he was a genius. Likewise Coutinho as an 8.

The man sold Kuyt for £800,000 to bring in Fabio Borini. He sold Suso for £1m and paid £15m for Joe Allen. He sold Luis Suarez and bought Ricky Lambert and Balotelli to replace him. He played Lazar Markovic at left back and Emre Can at centre back. He brought in Sahin and then played him off the striker. He was a fucking idiot.

So all of the good decisions were sheer luck, and all of the bad ones were exclusively his fault.  Nice balanced opinion.

Asinine to say he fell ass-backwards into success and everything was luck because he showed real flexibility in 13-14 and got the lineups and tactics right for the most part. He can definitely coach and coach good players.

But until further notice, he is clearly a bit shit at the management part of being a manager. That is, being the mouthpiece of a club, building a squad, having a reasonable working relationship with the people above him. He was absolutely terrible at those things here and it's the reason he failed and partly why we needed a pretty thorough rebuild when he left.

He was pretty bad at managing too,at the top table that is. Either side of the title challenge we finished in lowly positions. We had a Leicester of a season but couldnt see it out.

Suarez missed 5 Premier League games at the start of that season. Then he contributed 31 goals and 17 assists in 33 games. Having looked at his and Rodgers' careers subsequently, it's obvious who was the main influence in that squad.

Yeah but when you compare buy-to-let home ownership, Rodgers leaves Suarez reeling.

Celtic are still a huge club, as are Ajax.

Both would need some kind of European Super League to increase their attractiveness to better players and bring them back to full relevance, though.

Ajax were in the UEFA Cup Final 2 years ago.

They drew twice with Bayern Munich in the Champions League this season.

They are skint compared to Premier League clubs but still a way better side than the likes of Celtic.

Still a far, far cry from their glory days, though. They were great in the first leg against Madrid too but just didn't have the quality to make it count.

Anyway, my point is that Celtic and Ajax are both huge clubs in a way that Manchester City and PSG will never be.

He's an arrogant fucking cunt who should never have been given the job.

A watered down Keegan of mid 90's Newcastle who in turn was a cheap knock off of the real thing.

Thankfully long since upgraded here.

The fucking twat.

Apart from that he was okay, though.

He's the kind of man who plays Aerosmith 'Don't Wannna Miss a Thing', while gazing moist-eyed into the mirror, every time he bonks his missus. Not even his mouth accepts his new teeth. He's not a chocolate that he'd eat if he was one himself. He's a chocolate covering of sea-salted caramel that he'd eat if he was one himself.

Had his place burgled in Glasgow before he has had chance to clear out. Out of order anyone who burgles a house. The amount of money these in Football get, as if you wouldn't pay for proper security for when you aren't there. Particularly if you have valuable or sentimental items in there and the whole world knows you aren't at home.

Anyway, anyone wanna buy this?

Ridiculous isn't it?  A day's wages would probably be enough to pay a couple of guys to house-sit during every game in a season.
