Couldn't agree more. I think Mane is our most underrated player. People talk about our front three being excellent, but Mane is always treated like the annoying friend you tolerate to spend time with her good looking friends(Salah and Bobby).

 

No way would he have gotten away with Firmino's season, for example. Any time he has one of his 5-8 game dips in form(and he does definitely have them), people immediately get on his back; the fact he's been a consistent matchwinner for us for 3 years is swept to the side.

 

Case in point, Fabinho, Origi, Salah, Trent, Van Dijk and Allison their threads all bumped on here with praise from Wednesday. The matchwinner who scored the goal of the season has not.
