We need some proven winners in this side, we have Milner as the only one. And he will be off. Players who can show control and know how to finish teams off under pressure.

Have to improve 50% to have any chance now. I know we are top but carry on like today and we won’t be for long.

Come on Jurgen get theses fuckers playing.

I don't think it's fair to blame Sturridge too much, it's not like we were ripping them apart before he came on.

And am I right in thinking that Sturridge had our only shot on target for the entire game?

All our players were shite, they all deserve the blame for not showing up.

Oridinarily take a point there - but they were just there to be beat and that is deeply frustrating.

A point and gone top - it could be worse....but it feels like we are plagued wirh nerves and unable to handle them - just can't see right now how if we are still in race come the last couple games or so how we will be able to deal with it.

I believe we now after midweek play after them every game in March - so pressure will be on us every game to match or better their result - play catch up or stretch lead something we  have shown we struggle with.

Firmino makes far more runs when we’re im position, to create space for himself, and not least his team mates. And when we loose the ball he is very often the difference between a counter attack to the opposition, and winning it back in dangerous areas.

He undoubtedly works harder, but when he's shit he really is.  I just wish we had some decent forwards in the squad to give Klopp the option when players are out of form.  We have all these wunderkinds in the youth and under 21 teams that never seem to make the step up anymore, so we are going to need to go and get a couple of experienced heads in.  Especially to talk to those players who seem to shrink and avoid taking responsibility in big games.

I understand the animosity towards the Sturridge sub but Shaq did next to fuck all when he did come on.

we needed someone to run up top and deeper. We don’t have a Firmino replacement to do that.

He did. He twatted Rashford which should have happened from the start of the 2nd half.

Anyway, be moaning miserable cunts all you want. I defy most not to have taken a draw before the game. Thats as hard as it should be for the remainder of the games we have.

Guess what..... After 27 games.... Liverpool......Top of the league.

The lack of a plan B when Firmino went off was startling.  We weren't playing well up until that point, but when he went off it was like any prospect of winning the game evaporated.

I don't think we'll win this title.  Man City are on fire and have all their key players fit or returning from injury.  We look shot to pieces and only capable of winning games against teams who are clearly inferior to us, and even then it's a massive struggle.  Even Spurs are still in with a sniff.  Fuck football.

Keita has been on an upward trajectory, and I don't think many would argue that he has more potential than the likes of Wijnaldum and the other lad.  He's coming into form, play him.  More importantly, he can create chances, whereas the other two cannot.  He will run at players, where the other two are so pedestrian and predictable, even a division two side would have time to get organised and behind the ball.

He’s had two half decent games recently.  With a fully fit midfield against these cunts he was never starting because he’s not reliable.  As the game went on there’s an argument that he should have come on because of how negative United set up and how badly our players continued to be but I reckon he would have been like a deer in headlights.

Bringing on Sturridge was biggest mistake. He was never going to pick a way through their defence which like it or not played well.

Every cunt on the planet knew bringing that fucking joke of was an idiotic decision.  Not the first time Klopp has done it.

There is a definite lack of personality and bollocks in midfield.

Fabinho has talent, but is still new to the side. Wijnaldum has talent too, but hasn't the presence of a title-winning midfielder.

Henderson's arse falls out in games of domestic importance - in the Bayern game he was great. It shows a psychological flaw in these important PL games.

A real leader in the middle is clearly lacking.

All well and good going on about how much progress we’ve made in recent years, and we have made plenty, but football is about winning. No prizes for finishing second in the league or losing a European Cup final. Let’s see what happens between now and the end of the season, but I won’t be surprised if we end up empty handed.

Absolutely this.

Yes we weren't good today but some of the slagging off of us not deserving to win fuck all is embarrassing.

It's not about being a super fan  but we are top with 11 games to go against a City side who according to some on here never drop points.

Bit of a reality check is needed
