Bournemouth (H) 9/2/19 - The Match Thread

The injuries seem to be getting to us, and not just in the obvious way of missing the quality, but because there's so many first teamers injured it's disrupting the chemistry and harmony in the remaining players, the system starts to fall apart.

It's becoming easier for teams to predict how we play because we are lop-sided. Robbo has become less effective going forward because they are concentrating on marking him, knowing the right flank isn't as much of an issue.

Having Trent will help massively with this, and give the players like Bobby a bit more space in the centre too by stretching the defence a bit, plus we've desperately missed his diagonal crosses.

For me right now more than anything that's the key to breaking down these teams with the tools that we have.

I don't think I've seen us play a cross from deep, or from one side of the pitch to the other in our last few games. It's always been from the wing, to centre mid, to other centre mid, to other winger who is now under pressure and then either twats it at the full backs thigh, or just blindly twats it into the box. It gives their team too much time to adjust.

In theory, Bournemouth should be an ideal team for us as their natural game isn't to sit back and defend but I'd have said that about West Ham before last night too.  A big win would be nice but we just need to win.

If we can do that then we have a two week break from league games before Old Trafford.  We'll hopefully have some players back then and that's the place for us to make the statement to kick on from.

Kidnap Clyne at the end of the game, before they get back on the team bus.

So we'll have another shit right back?

Not replacing him was the problem when we had one inconsistent kid at right back and every other option being woeful there due to playing out of position.

Fuck off Remmie. Don't fuck with the equilibrium.

Back at it Reds. Twat these 5 nil. Please. Fucking please.

If I were the superstitious type I'd blame you for starting a 2nd match thread but superstition is for bad thundercunts that play with white dogshit.
