So I don't know where you're getting your stats. I got them from the premier League site, which has Trent on about 50 matches and Gomez less. Maybe they're just league games. But that doesn't matter. Saying he shits out or he's a shithouse are the same thing. It's just a different way to say it. I'm not going to argue with you on this any more as you've clearly just got an issue with Trent or a hard on for Gomez, not sure which, but despite what you're saying, you're not watching the game. Trent neither shits out ornis a shithouse.

It does matter when you’re talking out of your arse.  Gomez has played 10 games at centre back in the league and 32 at full back in the premier league.  So when you say he’s had as many games at centre back as full back it shows you’ve got the memory of a fish and you probably aren’t paying attention to anything when the match is on.  His only games at centre back in the league have came this year before he got injured.

Trent isn’t a shithouse.  He’s confident on the ball and has been important in lots of games this season because he’s taken responsibility well beyond his years.  He does shit out of headers though which your stats seem to point towards and is schoolboy level at defending.  Gomez is a better centre half than full back but he’s far better defensively at full back than Trent which is why the best manager in the world made the decision he did this week.

He’s right though, you do make snap judgements. It leads you to thinking Traore is the most feared opposition player and that Harry Winks is amazing.

Harry Winks is a very good footballer. I’m not alone in thinking this, I posted a Guardian article full of his praises.

Oh. Wow. A Guardian article. I take it all back.

You've been riding his cock since he made a good pass versus Barca. The point was about making snap judgments.

He didn’t make “a good pass versus Barca”, he dominated the game against Madrid with the likes of Kroos and Modric in the team.

Winks in particular was brilliantly assertive in that first half. The purring over his best moments has tended to centre on his “calmness”, the ability to appear unfazed by being asked to pass and receive a football, a level of praise for a basic elite skill that tells you all you need to know about recent English midfields.

Here he was up against a midfield powerhouse, arguably the top three in the world in their roles: Casemiro, king of suffocation; Toni Kroos, a wonderful passer; and Luka Modric a footballer who looks like he was born on the half‑turn, able to twist and turn and pause and do pretty much anything he wants with the ball.

In the back row of the press seats Spanish radio called the game with its usual pitch of enthusiasm, spitting out the names. Winks. Kane. Winks. There were a lot of Winkses. And there is so much to like about a player who makes the game feel this calm and orderly. Best of all Winks will often just stop and watch, reading where the ball might go next. Every team need a player like this. Given the current level of competition it seems self-evident Winks should get another chance to start in central midfield for England.

Dude, he's 19. He scored a hat-trick in the first leg. He's not expected to be really consistent.

He might be talented, but he’s not good enough for us right now. He won’t get a game for City either next season.

We're watching a winger called Samuel Chukwueze who plays for Villareal. We've been watching him since the U17 World Cup and he caused Real Madrid and Barcelona a lot of problems in their games against him. He's been compared to Arjen Robben.

Hearing good things about this cat. Left footed, but has played on both wings for his club. Think he already has a prohibitively high release clause at £50m+, though.

So you want to compare stats, which is interesting as you claim you don't care for them, why not compare with robbo rather than a fucking giant? He's a small full back and should be expected to compete in a similar manner to Trent? Does he "shit out" too? He has less aerial duals per game than Trent - is he also running away from headers? He wins more - but I would say that's because he's a better defender and it has nothing to do with if Trent is a shithouse or shits out or which other weasel phrase you want to use.

Trent has just been voted the best right back in the league by his fellow pro's. Do you think they did that because they think he shits out and makes their life easy?

Trent has been voted the best right back in the league by all players in the league but don’t worry John who works 9 til 5 and pays subs to play alehouse footy on a Sunday thinks he’s a shit house and can’t defend, absolutely laughable.
We really do have some dull cunts who ‘support’ our club, fuck right off.

You’re asking a lot of questions for someone who doesn’t want to carry on the conversation.  He shits out of headers and is poor defensively.  Your own stats back that up.  It doesn’t matter a lot of the time because we are on the front foot so often.  He’s had a great season because he’s been so good going forward.  The reason he was left out against Barca is because he’s shit defensively and Gomez is much better.  You were saying that Trent isn’t good defensively but there’s no difference between the two defensively at right back anyway and that’s complete nonsense.

Seen a few rumours that we won't be spending much at all this summer. The club can fuck off if they think we don't need to add to the squad and just rely on youth players coming through. We have a chance to put some distance between us and the rest of the top six apart from City.

We can't rely on the front 3 and Van Dijk to play 50 games without injury. No excuses not to buy a couple of top class additions with the amount the club has earned and the amount of players who will be sold.

As long as we sign a top class forward couldn't care less if don't buy anyone else.

If we don't sign a forward this summer after two summers of failing to address the same gaping hole in the squad - directly resulting two trophyless seasons, then you'd be right to question both FSG and Klopp.

We are a better team with Trent at full back. As I said loads of posts back, any improvement Gomez is, is lost elsewhere and we're a lesser team. So the fact Gomez wins more headers just doesn't matter.
