Simon Mignolet has just landed in Belgium, where he will tomorrow complete a move to Club Brugge. Fee will be £6.4m, and could rise to £8.4m. #LFC looking at a replacement, been linked with Adrian, formerly of West Ham, and Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge.

I just don't see the point in writing the deal off and laughing at them for it. They've invested in the squad by probably vastly overpaying but with Chelsea in the middle of a ban its between them and Arsenal(probably) to make the 4th spot and if they make it the money been well spent even if it is short term thinking. Same with Maguire, not up to the top European standards but neither are 14 clubs in the premier league.

Laughing at those twats should be compulsory!

 

For my money i just don't think they'll get a tune out of him there - but i suppose we will see.

It might not work but I doubt he starts each week its a decent experienced player on the bench and will help with Europa League games. It's all about top 4 or Europa for them this year.

Alex McCarthy ffrom Southampton. Been raving about that lad since that Reading game. Fucking amazing that day, never seen a better goalkeeping performance ever. Would be a perfect number 2 and a huge upgrade on the pear nonce.
