Klopp has been 100% clear we got alisson and VVD because we sold coutinho. We signed VVD on 1st Jan, so we clearly knew coutinho was going. By about 5th Jan, Nike were selling coutinho Barca kits on their web site, even if the deal took 2 weeks or so more to officially materialise. It was all a dance, we were as happy sellers as coutinho was to leave. The deal suited everyone and anyone who doesn't think all the rest was noise and PR is kidding themselves. Coutinho left with everyone's blessing at the club.

Because in the summer he wanted us to sell for the 90m or whatever it was Barca were offering at the time and we wouldn't sell at that fee. As soon as they met our asking price, Linda and John were at his house packing his bags.

I'll give you Alisson (bought months later obviously), where has Klopp been clear that there is no VVD purchase without Coutinho leaving? We tried to buy him in the previous summer of course, or was that just a smokescreen?

In the league, he played 8 times as an AMC, and 6 times as an AML.

Their positional judgement is questionable. In the 5-1 Brighton away game we played 3-4-3 and Coutinho definitely played  on the left of a front three, not part of a midfield six as they have it down!

It's worked out well for us thankfully, usually doesn't when we sell our best players.

Wolves and a few German teams are interested in Camacho and we've quoted a minimum of £10m. He also wants to leave to play regularly and play in his natural position. 

 

Kent is wanted by Aston Villa and Awoniyi was supposed to be joining Schalke for around 10 to 12 million. Allan will probably go back to Brazil as Chirivella may go back to Spain too. 

 

Clyne for 15m and Mignolet for another 10m as well. Think we'll be stuck with Lallana though.

It's a shame Camacho wants to leave. On paper he's a perfect right back to have behind Trent but it seems he'd rather not play there. I think he'll show he's quite talented wherever he goes.
