I don’t think he’s shit, I’ve never seen him play. Kimpembe is rubbish though. Awful player (at present).

Classic "aRdja has seen him play bad one time so he must be shit" situation. If you'd seen Kimpembe when they beat Barcelona 4-0, you'd think he was the best defender in the world. He pocketed Messi better than anyone I've ever seen that time.

Fine, maybe he was. That wasn't really the point. Point is more it's silly to overrate single performances.

I’ve seen Kimpembe play a handful of times, he’s never impressed me. No point pretending otherwise, just because some fucking websites list him as one of the “players to watch out for in 2019”. Most of them listed don’t make it to the top level.

Oh forgive me. Took that as your textbook "I've seen them once be bad so they're shite" act. Fair enough if you just don't rate him, but frankly he's very talented and has had some great moments and matches for a relatively young central defender.

I reckon we should swerve Havertz for the time being. I like the policy we have where we let a player prove themselves over multiple seasons before signing them. It cuts out all the one season wonder signings like Dahoud, Hector, Belotti, Luis Alberto, Lemar, Seri, Gelson Martins etc.

Echo putting something out about us needing another CB. Wonder who will get the boot. One of Matip and Lovren is surely out if not both. 

 

I reckon Ake would be worth a look to make the step up.
