I don’t think they’ll pay any of the wages. He’s on 200k a week I think

On a more serious note , I am getting a bit worried about the expectations being foisted on young Elliott , he is 3 years younger than Phil Foden who is supposed to be a worldie & has played 17 games for our main rivals at this stage of his career.

That sounds like they're trying to cover the depreciation for him which must be at least £20m a year plus a bit extra.  The extra is cheeky after the season he's had.

It's a bit different at the moment because we have 3 boss forwards but we'll definitely sell one before we buy another.
