I agree with CD. I was at that Reading game. the only thing better than McCarthys performance was Stringvest doing the conga at half-time.

I just want a keeper who won't shit himself when the ball is at his feet. I don't think that's McCarthy or Etheridge. Rather have Adrian if those are actually the 3 we are looking at. A return of Reina is probably the best case scenario, but I don't know how realistic that is.

His debut penalty save against Stoke aside, my only memories of Mignolet are dominated by woe and infamy. An awful goalkeeper who, if he had ever actually been neeed, would almost certainly have led to us being knocked out of Europe. Thank god he's gone.
