Barcelona have received a “secret” Coutinho bid.  You aren’t kidding anyone.  Clearly trying to flush Liverpool out.  If they’d received a bid from someone they’d be all over the newspapers telling you the exact details trying to start a bidding war.  I think it’s actually a good sign.  If we want him we will get him and relatively cheaply.

More realistic will be a year long loan with us paying the full wage. Plus option to buy obviously, would be about 80 mil

I think there was one more realistic instalment to do with making another 25 appearances where we would get another 4.5m.

 

If I’m remembering correctly it was 106m initial fee which has to be paid.  Of the 36m add ons it was 4.5m for every 25 appearances and 4.5m per season for qualifying for the CL for 2 years and similar for winning it.  So really we will only have missed out on 13.5m if he moves on this summer.

 

Personally I’d offer them 65m and tell Coutinho to tell them he’s not going anywhere else.  If he really wants back here he’s going to have to act the cunt with them as much as he did with us.
