Sturridge and Welbeck would be the medical room likely lads.

It will be more like that sitcom Only when I laugh:

Roy, Archie and Norman are long-term patients in a British hospital ward. Though they don't seem terribly ill, neither do they seem to be getting better and going home. So they pass their days side by side in the hospital ward, chatting and occasionally getting on one another's nerves.

de Ligt will be wondering what he is missing out on.

United are convincing themselves that this is the type of signing Ferguson would'e made. Would he fuck! He would've signed the likes of Kane and Son, not some lad from the Championship nobody has heard of.

He did splash £6m on a chap by the name of Nick Powell from League One Crewe Alexandra in 2012. Powell went on to make nine appearances for Man Utd before his release four years later.

Yeah, it's just this mythology around him that he signed obscure players and then turned them into stars. He didn't. He signed mostly proven stars or kids that we're massively hyped at the time he signed them.

Reports this morning that he now wants to sign a new deal at PSG?!

No way he’s back at PSG. It has been very bad between the two sides. Henrique was on duty for Nasser.

I actually think Daniel James for United is a decent signing. The problem is that they need WAY more than just a decent low-risk winger to fix their problems, and the more important signings are where they're more likely to screw it all up. However, taken in a vacuum, a quick, young homegrown winger who shows some decent potential is a pretty decent bargain for 18m or whatever it is.

I bet you in a few years it comes out that they actually paid 28 million for him, they chatted shit about the price of Martial at the time. Plus 18 million on a player who has only played in the Championship is steep as it is. A few Swansea fans have said he's fast but fucks up a lot. He may turn out to be a good player, if he gets a game and is not overawed by it all, because if he has a few stinkers the fans will be on his back rather than the Norwegian Gnome. It's a risk imo, plus the manc fans bigging it up as some super signing is laughable.

Daniel James.  REMEMBER THE NAME!!!  Of course Daniel Craig is the latest actor to play the iconic Secret Service Agent, with a new movie tentatively scheduled for April 2020, and "James" is of course the Christian name of the said agent.  Let's just say he'll have a LICENCE TO THRILL!!!

I’d like to see Red Knight and the rest of the welsh mafia’s opinions of him.

Makes one hell of a change for it to be a domestic rival (ish) getting stripped of their best player.

Especially when they can’t replace him.

Haven't Chelsea taken their case to CAS. Not sure if I'm correct on this, but it would stall any transfer ban until CAS make a decision. Basically a snide way (because surely they would lose any case with CAS as well)  of them delaying the ban and ensuring they can be active in the next transfer market at the very least.
