I hardly never watch ligue 1, but Pepe is unanimously recognized as a future great player.

It will cost around 45-60 M£ And l’Equipe has said that Lille have already got an offer from Inter Milan.

The idea that Ligue 1 is a pub league is one that I expect our nerds to exploit regularly in the next few years. Arbitrage (where Henry made all his money) is all about recognising undervalued assets, and our whole analytics team specialises in exactly this.

If people think the league that produced Mbappe, Kante and Dembele (just to cite a few from the last few years) is rubbish, then get in and buy them while they're under-valued.

Of course, almost half of Pepe's goals this season were from the penalty spot, so he's probably over-valued as a result, but that's just him, not the league. He has massive potential but I'm not sure he's at the level required to back up Mane and Salah just yet.

Or we could just be taking the piss...

If we're buying foreigners, a mate of mine reckons John McGinn, currently carrying Aston Villa, formerly of Hibs, would be a value buy.

Andy Robbo and the King could translate until he learns to speak scouse.

I don’t think we need a value buy, except maybe at reserve keeper.

We just need a young really good wide attacker.

Liverpool have put a £10M price tag on Rafael Camacho, with Wolves & Sporting Lisbon interested. If the club's valuation isn't met they're prepared to hold onto him for the final year of his deal, as the winger has told #LFC he has no intention of extending it. Other than having potentially a great song this lad has very little to offer. Plus his hangers on are bells.

Illori can't get a game back in Portugal, this will pan out worse.

Depay was looking like a future great in the Eredivisie, then he went the Mancs and seemed to think he'd already made it. As well as this he didn't seem to fit in as he always seemed to be spending any time he could back over here. Plus I can never forget that hat and poncho get up.

Maybe he'd be better with two talented international team mates who've worked hard to get their acclaim in the same squad. I have no idea what he's been like in France.

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool have contacted Lyon over a £35m deal for Memphis Depay after both Georginio Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk recommended the club to sign him. https://t.co/UomCry9bdH

He can be had for less than that. We'll probably end up paying for Depay with the money from Wilson.
