Ziyech's on the older side of what FSG usually go for and those numbers are massively suspect given the league he plays in is roughly League One quality. For those reasons I don't think we'll be in for him. Thoroughly enjoy watching him but I think Pepe is more in line with what we usually do.

Lee,

Don't you remember last summer, after the world cup there wasn't even an inkling of us replacing karius, all the chat was of his concussion, how klopp still had faith.

Then bam, we broke the world record for arguably the best keeper on the planet.

I'd only start worrying when that Scottish twat on sky starts doing his transfer deadline day countdown.

I genuinely think Klopp was actually planning to persevere with Karius you know.

It's only when the Fekir transfer collapsed and Karius carried on his mistakes to preseason that he decided he needed to bite the bullet and pay the fee for Allison.

SOMETHING ABOUT A FIRE SALE
The signing of Pogba would be just one of the many pieces of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid squad overhaul this summer. With two transfers already sorted, the club want to ‘avoid bringing themselves into the situation of’ Manchester City or PSG, so will fall in line with FFP rules.

To that end, Marca say they ‘will seek to gain 200 million euros from player sales’. So Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, Keylor Navas and Marcos Llorente are free to leave.

Bale will be linked with Manchester United until man is extinct. Ceballos was wanted by Liverpool last summer. Navas has piqued the interest of, among many Premier League clubs, Arsenal. And they have been after Llorente, too.

Real will use the money from any sales to help fund moves for Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy. They have big plans; now is the time for English clubs to take advantage – if they so wish

Even funnier.....

Marco Silva will continue his overhaul of Everton’s squad by selling ‘around 15’ players this summer.

Silva generated just under £20m through the sales of Ramiro Funes Mori and Davy Klaasen last year, with eight players allowed to leave on a free and a further 13 loaned out.

Everton made six signings and spent more than most of their Premier League rivals, with Silva hoping for a similar level of churn again.

The Daily Mail say that, among ‘a lengthy list of fringe players’ will be Ademola Lookman, who has struggled to establish himself at Goodison Park.

The 21-year-old has impressed on his brief cameos, with only three of his 21 Premier League appearances this season coming from the start.

But Crystal Palace, Southampton and RB Leipzig, for whom he was excellent on loan in the second half of the 2017/18 campaign, are all interested.

Everton would want £20m for the winger, who would be the headline sale of a group including Cenk Tosun, Oumar Niasse, Jonjoe Kenny, Leighton Baines, James McCarthy, Yannick Bolasie, Sandro Ramirez, Kevin Mirallas, Muhamed Besic and Maarten Stekelenburg.

The Toffees already have one signing lined up, with Huddersfield’s Jonas Lossl in line to replace Stekelenburg as Jordan Pickford’s back-up.
