Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

Thanks

Dave

That story you mentioned on here about two brothers who had a fight and one stabbed the other still raises a shiver.

Aye, that was a terrible thing to happen.

My cousin was a granny at about 32 or so. One of her daughters was seeing some tit involved in that incident involving Kenny Dalglish and a hand grenade in Formby. He in jail now.

Was Birkdale in Southport that, not Formby.

A lad I work with has 3 kids who he never sees, mentions or pays any child support for. One of the women he impregnated works in another government department but her mum used to work in our office.

On a night out this woman started slagging him off saying what an absolute shitstain of a man he was/is to her daughter as it wound her up that he had a new bird on the go who he always goes out getting pissed with and goes on holiday with.

When her daughter had her kids she said this lad turned up at the birth to hold her hand etc and the midwife said "weren't you here the other week?"

He was, as one of the other birds he got up the duff had their kid about 3 weeks before and he turned up at the birth to hold her hand acting like the concerned father.

Glad its been fucked off. Sad how its come about with some fella committing suicide but this show should never have been allowed in the first place.

What does strike me is that 2 or 3 Love Island contestants have committed suicide since the show but ITV wouldn't dream of fucking that off given the viewers it gets.

What next for Jeremy Kyle himself?

Sad to see it end without Kyle having his nose broken before his hired goons can get themselves in between him and whoever he’s baiting and hectoring, the utter cunt.

Yeah I'd love to have seen him get twatted. Didnt a story come out a few years back that he was goosing some 16 year old behind his wifes back?

Aye. Lost shitloads of money gambling too.

The right-wing media will likely have a field day over him now the whistle has been blown.

Turns out Graham is not quite 'the genius' after all.

I feel sorry for big Steve, seems a nice guy despite being a proper roidhead.

Find it bizarre that it takes incidents such as this to make everyone momentarily stop being a cunt and acknowledge that they're party to a wider issue. Bit like when that pic of the dead kid was doing the rounds during the 'migrant crisis' a couple of years ago or indeed the Hillsborough findings a few years back, suddenly everyone stops, a proportion cry crocodile tears, some feel genuinely ashamed, the hate subsides for a bit then everything carries on regardless.

This show is part of the whole 'gypsy weddings, benefits by the sea, broke and on benefits' style bollocks that's just designed to get morons to laugh at people, the juice being that they temporarily believe that there are people out there more lost and unfortunate than them - them being people that are actually so fucking sad they actually find something like this has a positive impact on their self esteem.

More broadly, it's part of the vilification of the working class, a bear pit, bread and circuses designed to  keep ordinary folk at each other's throats rather than give them the time and thought material they need to aim their ire at the people who deserve it.

I eagerly await the replacement shows: "Philip Green's BHS Boats" and "Prince Phillip's adventures at the private hospital."

It's amazing how a UK-based show was allowed to use a lie detector and brand it as evidence for entertainment purposes without any form of disclaimer or follow up. There's a reason we don't use them in the UK and why they're more of an APA than a BPS-recommended metric.

The news of the guest is deeply saddening but I'm not surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more or even incidents of self-harm or substance abuse following getting blasted by that cunt of a show.

It's no great loss that this abortion of a show is no longer with us.

But, there's an old adage about dirty linen in public. If a bloke wants to tell his bird that he's bumming her dad, for me, a widely broadcast TV show probably isn't the ideal forum.

The eternal irony of the Jeremy Kyle show is that people who watch it think it's moron porn, yet they themselves are morons for watching it. If I met someone who told me they liked it I'd judge them - and judge them harshly.
