To be honest I think Fernandinho is a lot better than Gilberto Silva, surprised you didn't take him into that position.
Right decision keeping Desailly at centre back though - what a beast. Gutted I missed out on him.

Cafu is the greatest right back of all (Lahm and Thuram have arguments, but the former sort of transcends the position as he played all over the place, and the latter while having an incredible peak definitely declined earlier & began spending more time at centre back), but regretted take him so early. Brazil has such an abundance of incredible right backs that the key one with them seems to be getting Roberto Carlos (such is the relative lack of good left backs v. right backs)

Rooney a better option than Suarez? Can you send me some of whatever you are injecting please.

Fair play to everyone who called me out on this - that was a ridiculous thing to suggest.

I didn't actually mean that Rooney was better than Suarez; what I was trying to say was that this team overall would be better because the midfield behind them with Vieira, Effenberg and Rui Costa were better than Busquets, Rakitic and an aging Iniesta. However, reading it back it definitely reads like I was comparing Rooney to Suarez and suggesting the balding one was better which, I'll hold my hand up, is way off base.

I'm sure Ian Huntley regrets his actions too mate.
