I didn’t see the match but sounds like I didn’t  miss much performance wise. I kept checking my phone though so was very grateful for Caramac’s gifs!

For all the crying about penalty-pool, today was the first time in about a year that a penalty has been decisive in getting us points, all the other ones they are quick to moan about were during us battering teams and would have won comfortably anyway.

Yep. Although the Mancs is always tough for us because we seem to struggle there.  Everton will treat it like a cup final. West ham are in good form too.

Next 3 away games are tough. West Ham are a good side with dangerous players. United will be horrible. Everton is a derby. Would take 7 points from them.

Nothing less than 12 points from the other four games. Southampton might be an awkward one but i think they will be safe by then.

Plus the Mancs is after the first leg of the Bayern Munich game and they play PSG the week before us.

Can’t wait until Solskjaer has to play against some decent sides with managers who are vastly better than him. We should have no fear playing them this time.

Not sure theres much you can read in to those games only that the last 10 games the pressure is ratched up we will lose a game in that lot no one expects so will city key is how we respond thats why today is a massive win

True, but if a team is chasing opponents with the ball for 3/4 of a game, then all things being equal, they'll commit 3/4 of the fouls.

Normally it's the most entertaining result of the day or games involving more than one big team. As the other big teams are all playing on other days and there's only one match with two big teams (as you say, Manyoo and Spurs) they clearly just wanted to update the title race.

 

I didn't see Klopp's post match interview on BBC, interesting that he acknowledged that we are top of the league by 7 points until tomorrow and Monday. He normally bats that away.

I didn’t see it live. I was just answering everyone saying how he wasn’t whinging like some do but the clip Sky showed earlier made it look like he was a bit.

Just seen the stats on MOTD- Brighton had no shots on target so he can’t moan too much.
