Moreno, Sturridge, Markovic out of contract. We will get money for Lallana and Origi, even Mignolet.

Anyone is better than Moreno, surely can be replaced for a reasonable cost. Back up arl arse for Mongo mkII in goal. Wilson for Lallana, Brewster in for Origi.

Easy this lark.

I've been dreading this for no real reason, but I've just looked at the league table and remembered that we're really good.

0-2 to the LFC. Fabinho comes of age as the new Cruyff.

We should approach it like we have been, 100% professional and get the job done.

The City result has gone, incredibly hard game, should not affect our confidence one jot. No excuses.

That backline scares me a bit.

3 out of our regular back 4 starting scares you? Or is it Fabinho potentially playing at centre half again that scares you?

This fixture is not too dissimilar to the same fixture last season. Brighton had only lost 1 out of the 7 league games they'd played at home up until our game against them in December, and that was an opening day defeat at the hands of City.

They've lost just 2 of their 10 games at home so far this season, again to teams in the top 4 (Chelsea & Spurs).

We went into that game last season with Lovren as our only recognised centre half starting the game, with Can & Wijnaldum alongside him. Mignolet, Robbo & Trent made up the remainder of the back 6. (We had Klavan on the bench too).

They are a tidy side, Brighton, and it'll be a tough fixture, but we're a very good side too.

I'd imagine that the Brighton side will look fairly close to the below:

Button; Montoya, Dunk, Duffy, Bernardo; Stephens, Propper; March, Gross, Locadia; Murray.

I’m sure those thankful for Lovren’s injury will be more than understanding with Fabinho if he costs us the game from an unfamiliar position on Saturday.

Loveens been at it for 4-5 years, I’m sure we can afford Fabinho more patience than one cock up.
