Our consecutive trips to the Champions League final might be tempting for a player who hasn’t yet scaled those heights in European competition.

It’s a comforting thought that the closest he has got to a European cup final is literally Anfield

I think his dubious commitment, negative presence in the dressing room, work ethic, his tendency to allow his head to go down, and his lack of pace probably don’t endear him to Klopp.

What about his tendency to shoot (miss) from distance with increasing frequency as we chase a late goal?

I honesty don’t think they’d care. They’d be desperate to make room for Griezmann IMO.

I think they'd be worried about us getting the same tune out of him as we did before he left and potentially embarrassing them, as well as strengthening, on the back of the CL semi. If there's someone else in for him they'll do everything they can to make sure he goes there.

If Klopp wants him it makes sense footballing wise as he offers so many possibilities.

Financially I just can’t see it happening in a million years. Barca paid £106m up front so it’s not like we’d even take him back and let them off paying what they owe us.

No way will FSG pay out £100m+ for him.

Wasn't he crying in Brasil with the national team because we were his evil slave masters and he didn't want to return to the gulags of Liverpool?

Fuck. Him.

Apparently so. I wish some football club would pay me £100k a week and treat me that badly.
