Play the under 9's.

This is an absolute joke of a draw, by the way. Wolves away in our first FA Cup game after getting Chelsea in first League Cup game. Absolute shit luck.

I think our last 5 cup draws have been against prem league opposition at earliest possible stage.

Leicester - League Cup last season at round we entered.

Everton at round we entered in FA last season.

WBA (they were PL at time) in next round.

Chelsea - League Cup this season at round we entered.

Wolves  - FA this season at round we entered.

Takes some drawing that and if you compare it to City et al in same period it is quite staggering.

Whatever line-up Klopp puts out, the players should treat it with the same focus, intent and intelligence with which they've approached the league campaign. Getting knocked out of the FA Cup early has been a recurrent theme for almost 3 decades now, and rarely has it lead to us winning trophies in other competitions because we've had a bit more time between games. That attitude and record needs to stop if we're serious about actually winning trophies.

The timing of this fixture is the biggest bastard. I've got no doubt the players would love nothing more than to 'get back on the horse' in the league as soon as humanly possible, yet now they've got this tricky away tie to deal with.

Add in the sports science people suggesting it could be a chance to give a few players a break, given the current fixture congestion, and it's just all a bit awkward.

From City to Brighton this is the only time off we have left. Use to the 10 days go get rest into the bones of those that need it most. Alisson,TAA,VVD, Robbo, Gini, Milner, Henderson, Salah, Bobby and Firmino. Give them all 5 days in Malaga or somewhere and build a team without them.

There is enough quality in Shaquiri,Keita and Fabinho to get the job done with Lalanna Sturridge Moreno Lovren and Mingolet plus some kids.

They gave us a decent game in the league - had a couple of good chances.

They are as we have seen with them beating Tottenham recently a good side.

We've seen that when we go to our squad and leave out the big hitters we struggle - I can't see that changing on Monday. It is a bastard of a draw....will they make many changes? No real need for them is there, they are safe in league, obviously not in Europe so why wouldn't they go full tilt at this?

It's a good job we'll have three subs, I think we'd need them.
