Have you been watching his youtube channel recently Jairz? He had me laughing the other day asking why there isn't a the down syndrome category in pornhub.

Nah. Haven't seen any for ages (before this new channel, I think, as it only seems about 8/9 months old).

Binge watched this afternoon.

That Tyan Booth is mental, but I watch every new vid he puts on YouTube. Cringe at bits and laugh at others, but I find him weirdly likeable.

Deceny little night of boxing tomorrow. See if Ritson can get back on track and win the British belt again in his fight with Townend. Wonder if we will see the same Lewis or if he’s going to have tweaked his game and added some strategy?

Looking forward to Joyce Stiverne too. Will be a good gauge to see what Joyce can achieve. If he wins it will put him further into the mix with the big guns maybe. He can’t afford a loss at any point given his age and development.

Can have a look at Shelby as he moves up to lightweight, although not too arsed about that one.

Then the main event in DeGale Eubank. I’m looking forward to this. Good job Turdseye didn’t bother starting the boxing league, as I can’t call this. Reckon DeGale might try and spoil in the way Groves did and he has the style to do it. Depends on whether Eubank has added to his repertoire with the new trainer.

You're a month early with the matchboom card mate, it's 23rd March 2018.

Eubank V DeGale is a decent card, tough o e to call.

The idea Eubank is going to have made any significant difference to his style/technique through having his first proper trainer for six months at 29 is comical.

He may have a chance if De Gale has skimped on the training or really has got nothing left in the tank, but it would be unheard of for him to make the sort of technical changes required to best a fighter of De Gale’s relative class.

The outcome of the fight is based on how fucked DeGale is. As limited as JR is, he does come to fight so his fights are always entertaining.

Oh my god - you’re right! That’s the second time I’ve done that this month. I sat down to watch Liverpool v Bayern the Tuesday before it was on and was blagged when I couldn’t find it. I’d even googled the kick off time for it!

Fuck sake. Mid 30s and losing the plot.

Isn't there a half decent frank Warren card on BT tomorrow as well. Anthony Yarde and some lad from Leicester, Sam bowen, apparently one of Britain's best young fighters but sneaking under the radar.

Ill be flicking between both, unless the missus goes into labour.....

Priorities mate. I'm sure she will understand that boxing comes first.

How is it comical? If I tried to do something intensely for 6 months, I would improve at it. This is a professional boxer, and however much you question his talent, he’s got quite far in the sport. If a comparative quality of footballer to eubank, so say an established premier league player who hasn’t cut it at a top club, Zaha maybe, had 6 months to train and work on an aspect of his game, you would expect it to improve.

I think it’s pretty laughable to suggest that nothing has changed based on no evidence. Let him fight first and then judge. You may well be right, but you can’t be sure.

Surprised it’s even in question, at his age.  He’s openly saying he’s never had a proper coach until now. He is obviously incredibly tough, fit and game to get to this level despite it, but appears to be lacking absolute fundamentals.

29 is somewhat late in the day to start working on that when facing someone so well schooled with the decorations to prove it. Remember when Hatton teamed up with Mayweather late in his career and there was all the talk of him changing his style? Exactly the same fighter.

My bullshit detector is red lining on Eubank Jr's new trainer. Whenever I hear a trainer talking about how his fighter "doesn't understand the fundamentals" or "we have to start from scratch" I get the sense he's making it up as he goes along. There's a saying that goes "the master asks questions because he's secure in his status, the amateur asks questions because he's got no status to lose". This guy doesn't ask any questions. He thinks he's the only person in the world that understands boxing. He seems like the type of person that'll take all the credit for a victory and non of the blame for a loss.

Have you heard what Douglin has said after living in Eubank’s house for six weeks as his main sparring partner?

Just seen it this morning.

Yeah, I watched it on the Mayweather Boxing youtube channel the other day. The camp is fractured and (just my opinion) but I don't think the trainer has Jr's best interests in mind either.

Douglin and Vasquez are both associated with the Mayweather gym aren’t they?

If so, and the lead sparring partner has behaved like that when he’s got such a link to the trainer, then it hardly bodes well.

To be fair, I can’t really blame them for seeing it as a paycheck when it has been such an afterthought for Eubank himself in his career.

Does anyone else feel a bit sorry for Eubank Jnr? Can’t put my finger on what it is about him but he just cuts a really lonely and desperate sort of character.

Very much so.

I loved his old man and had high hopes for him, but between the two of them they’ve made a right arse of his career, in my opinion anyway.

That said, he’s obviously made a phenomenal living out of it (and arguably because of rather than despite all the hype and bluster) and lives a life I couldn’t even dream of, so far be it from me to knock him.

Just watching his old man bill him as something he couldn’t ever live up to repeatedly over the years, and now while basically saying he hasn’t got the skills of a DeGale contrast him unflatteringly with himself, all seems a little bit sad.

Feels at times like he’s just been used to let someone else re-live their career vicariously.

Going against the grain here but Jr wins this in the later rounds for me, Adam. Degale hasn’t been a top level fighter for a while and I think Eubank will walk through his punches and put him away.

Eubank gave me some great sparring for the Groves fight, which led to me knocking the best of his career out of him with a conclusive, devastating knock-out, while DeGale couldn’t have lived with the Cobra for 3 rounds.

Something something Andre Ward something, Britain first.

Yeah, they're both Mayweather Gym associates. Eubank Jr has been training there since he was a teen. As you say they're opportunists. It's a shame the Adam Booth partnership didn't work out because the deficiencies that are present in Jr's game (ie his lack of a jab or his in-fight strategy) are the main strengths of Adam Booth fighters.

i dont feel sorry for him, but i know where you're coming from.

I noticed at the final press conference, at the end they did a square off and final photos, when the trainers came in, Eubank senior came up and moved Jr out of the way ,so he was the one in the middle. He really should have told his old man to fuck off, he's had his time.
