He's failed two test we know off. Neither him or his promoter felt the need to tell his opponent. People slaughtered Miller for a similar thing, alot of the same people online now defending Whyte.

It's not a similar thing. Miller was using PED's. He was caught red handed using two compounds that a cheat would use to gain an advantage. The two drugs he popped for have a very small detection window and unless you catch them on the day they are injected they won't show up on tests.

Dianabol is an ancient oral steroid. It's been around since the 60's. It's half life and detectability time is very long. It would be the last drug that a boxer would use to dope because all it really does is bloat you and give you a fat face. It doesn't make any sense for Whyte to take it. He didn't even pop for dianabol itself, he popped for two metabolites of the drug. This is a tainted supplement and his career is in the shitter because of it.

So you reckon Whyte isn't a big enough sell?

Or they want to leave room open for Wilder - Joshua if Wilder beats Fury?

It all started when Stiverne won the title in an interim fight against Arreloa after the debacle of Vitali Klitschko being Champion in recess. They made Wilder the mandatory challenger for the belt when his record didn't warrant it at all. To put it in context, the fight before Wilder fought for the title he beat Jason Gavern in a 10 round fight.

It was all set up to make Wilder champion. Stiverne was the weakest champion and they wanted the belt to go to an American with all the hype and coverage that brings. Wilder beats Stiverne and then proceeds to fight "bum of the month club" level opposition. He then gets ordered in 2016 to fight his first mandatory Povetkin in Russia and Povetkin fails a drug test for a substance called Meldonium and the fight is cancelled.

Then Wilder fights three more bums and then finally fights a live body in Ortiz. Only Ortiz fails a drug test for high blood pressure because he's an old man with high cholesterol. Wilder finally gets in the ring and beats him after the medical commission try to fail Ortiz on medical grounds on the night of the fight. He then cherry picks Fury one year after being 400 pounds - thinking he's shot to pieces and Fury surprises everyone and puts on a clinic but gets robbed.

Then the WBC force Wilder to fight Dominic Breazeale, making Breazeale mandatory over Dillian Whyte, which was a cynical attempt to maneuvered Whyte out of the way fearing he'd bring a worthy challenge out of their champion. They have now stripped Whyte of his status as mandatory challenger over what looks to be a tainted supplement, further protecting Wilder.

Wilder would destroy Whyte anyway.

I've my suspicions with Whyte, but there is a massive difference in how the WBC have acted here and with Canelo.

Here's what that cretin Sulaiman had to say about Canelo's failed test:

He was in Mexico, going back and forth going to several commitments; this could be the result of one appetizer, one steak, one event where he had one taco. I am not trying to protect Canelo; believe me.

I think Wilder would stop Whyte fairly easily, but the WBC don't want him fighting any dangerous bouts outside of Fury or Joshua.

Hearn and Whyte better put up or shut up though and give us a reason why he failed and why the bout went ahead without Rivas being informed.

See Saunders has amicably parted company with Warren. Must be a first for someone to leave a contract with him without litigation immediately following.

They’ve cited the fact certain fights remain unavailable to him while with this promotion, so presumably a Hearn match-up through Matchroom and/or DAZN is in the offing.

Unless The Atlantic are putting him on the payroll like they are every fucker else.

Apparently Whyte had passed all the Vada test before and after the bout Vs Rivas. The mystery deepens.

Im guessing he didn't cycle correctly so had trace amounts in his system. He will claim tainted supplements, Eddie will pay some money and he will get a 6-12 month ban backdated

It shows up in blood and urine tests for 19 days after ingestion. Why would you take it 3 days before a fight when you have a piss test on the night of the fight? Makes no sense.

Rewatched Crolla v Lomachenko last night. I couldn’t remember the finish being as brutal as that. Crolla was fucked up badly.

Lomachenko beats prime Floyd. Would be a cracker of a fight that

Yeah was hard to watch, he got annihilated.

I think Floyd would be too big for Lomachenko but skill wise they are similar level.

Should have been stopped at the end of the third regardless of what Crolla says. He was beaten.

Floyd is arguably the best defensive boxer of all time but he could read people. You can't read Lomachenko. He throws punches no-one else would even think about. Plus he is brutal.

Feel a bit for Frampton , what a ridiculous way to scupper a bout you had been training hard for months for.

( A large ornamental lamp in his hotel foyer fell and cracked him on the hand , breaking a bone )

Another one for the Michael Stensgard ' ironing board ' list.

Lee , I think you said you were joining the Athletic , if so , there is a quite in depth article on the whole situation and also an aspect I was not aware of , with Whyte apparently using different gloves at the last minute to the ones agreed and checked, and the opposing trainer not being able to examine them as he 'already had them on'. Mentions the fact that the shenanigans around this bout is one of the major reasons for Ruiz Jr wanting no part of GB for the rematch.

Will have to drag myself kicking and screaming into the 21st century and learn how to post links.

Ha ha forgot about that one, wonder whether Frampton was goalie for his school team as they seem to be most prone to this sort of thing. ( ps out of rep , will be back later )

I hope not, he'd have got lobbed with anything above waist height.
