5-4-1 Canelo just up

Judges have it 8-1-1 probably

Watching it back and this is where I’m up to and totally agree with your card.

Froch the only one talking any sense I thought. Smith and Coldwell are insufferable though.

Edit - Feel Jacobs starting like that was a plan. Also, Golovkin sat in his sunnies at ringside. What a whopper.

Golovkin can do what he wants.

That at was a decent scrap when Jacobs got into it. Canelo is good and everything, he just leaves me a bit cold

I feel the same way with Canelo, he's an very talented fighter but his big wins are never emphatic, they are close decisions (Usually with unfair scoring). He fights don't excite me, as if it goes to points he'll always get the nod. Plus he's a blatant drugs cheat.

I reckon Canelo did cheat but there is enough suspicion that it was contaminated imo. If he doesn't get caught again I do see it as something that can be overlooked as a potential contamination issue.

I love watching him fight, it's been great watching him develop. He doesn't have one shot power of other middleweight but his defense is fantastic. He's hard to hit clean, has a granite chin and did what people said he couldn't by standing in the pocket and going toe to toe with Golovkin.

I don't buy the contaminated meat excuse for one second, he's a quality fighter though. It's a shame Saunders is such a prick as I think he could give Canelo problems.

The only reason I would give him the benefit of the doubt(and I still think he knowingly took it) is due to the massive amount of athletes in Mexico found to have it in their system.

In 2011, players of the Mexico national football team were found with clenbuterol in their bloodstreams, but were acquitted by WADA after they claimed the clenbuterol came from contaminated food. FIFA has also claimed 109 players from multiple countries who were participating in the Under-17 World Cup in Mexico tested positive for this drug. However, FIFA and the World Anti-Doping Agency declined to prosecute any cases because the weight of evidence pointed to contamination from Mexican meat.

Yeah, but you’d expect an elite level boxer to be well aware of that risk and plan accordingly. What’s more likely is that he knew he’d always have the meat excuse to fall back on.

To be fair to Lee he's said he still thinks Canelo took it

Canelo is a far better fighter but is only a middleweight, Callum is pretty much a ligh heavyweight. The size is the only thing that makes it compitive. And Gallagher is talking out his arse if he thinks it could happen at Wembley. Canelo is the only real PPV star in boxing and Dazn are not risking them numbers and a sell out on the US for what would be a shitty start time and a 90,000 at Wembley. They could do similar numbers in Dallas at the Cowboy stadium and get the Mexicans ins
