Someone recently recommended that I look at newsgroups for downloads that I could not find on torrent sites etc.

 

Are they any good?

 

Any recommendation on any subscription etc

For over a week now and presumably after some excellent sleuthing and reporting of some despicable clandestine torrent sites like TPB, KAT and RARBG appear to be no longer available via my SKY BB provider. Keep up the good work citizens!

However I'm due to change me ISP provider to BT in a couple of days and am wondering whether I will have to go through the whole process of reporting these blights on society again in the event they start appearing again. Can anyone PM me any details if they are still getting getting unwanted access to any of these sites that are still working so I can keep a vigilant eye out for them and report them to the appropriate authorities should they prove accessible. Keep up the good fight.

Depends what you want. For about a million years I used newsbin Pro to browse the groups. You can just search titles using binsearch. Altbinz for downloading using an account from Astraweb (best retention and price)

Get a VPN, then they cant block fuck all. You should be able to hit RARBG et al with a VPN.

 

NordVPN for e.g. negates the Prem League block on Sats (when it was on) but google what VPN is best for torrents.

 

They arent expensive, just do it month by month.

 

Why it makes that porn block so laughable, there is a way around everything. Even free proxies to do the same (website wise), but VPN for the downloads etc.

Much prefer Tweaknews to Astraweb. Fewer takedowns and cheaper. Threw me in a free VPN as well which is handy for me for iPlayer, etc 

 

Eweka were also really good. Get whatever one of those two you can get the best offer on.
