Fully agree about the cup. I'd play camacho, jones and masterson and give game time to lallana, origi and sturridge. Virg, the front 3 and robbo especially need a break.

 

The cup is the icing on the cake. The league is our bread and butter and we have a great chance to finally get the monkey off our back.

It’s a tough ask. Our record against them recently has been brilliant and it’s inconceivable that such a run can continue for long against a side of such quality. A point will be a near-miracle under the circumstances.

I'm not quite so confident as some. City have failed to convert their ample chances in recent games, and that can often precede a day where everything seems to go in. It's a cliché, but I think these things tend to even themselves out with decent sides.

 

I'd take 0-0, them gaining no ground, us remaining unbeaten, and the significance of them failing to score.
