Don't know why I'm so calm about this. Probably the 7 point lead giving me more confidence than is justified. Just sort of feels like even if we lose, it's not the end of the world (and I hope the players aren't feeling that!).

I'd have played Fabinho for sure but I can see the thought process behind selecting Milner instead. Wijnaldum was a certainty, then Hendo vs. Milner vs. Fabinho vs. Keita is probably more an issue of tactics than anything else. Milner's running in midfield might help us to cover the distances we're going to need to keep up with the Silvas.

Come on you Reds!

A bit disappointed not to see Fabinho start, very happy to see Robertson is in.

My nerves are completely shot, fucking hell!

I don't think we can afford those sloppy passes Fabinho has been doing recently in this game.

So far he hasn't been punished but City defo would take advantage

There were of course rumours earlier that Andy Robertson would miss tonight's game as his wife is in labour, and that Moreno would have taken his place.

Personally I'd have had no problem with that - all Moreno had to do was hold her hand and avoid knocking the equipment over.

Not sure he would have managed that, bless him!

I find I'm so excited, I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel, a free man at the start of a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain.

I hope I can make it across the border.

I hope to see my friend and shake his hand.

I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams.

I hope we get beat
