Not loads but arguably one of the best presents ever this year.

My friends uncle is one of Robbie Fowlers best mates (he is a blue though) and he also works for Bt sport (Sits in the dugout, telling the players and managers where they need to be for interviews etc) . I mentioned in conversation a month or so ago that Robbie is and always will be my favourite ever Liverpool player. Anyway my friend buys me this coated ceramic Liverbird ornament and asks Gordon to get Robbie to sign it. I only found this out on Xmas day but Gordon was working the Liverpool/Napoli game and Robbie was there so he took the Lovebird with him. They tried about 20 pens in Anfield but it kept rubbing off so Robbie says he will take it home and find a pen. he texts Gordon a few days later saying "Lad I've been in about 10 shops here trying to find a pen for this fucking liverbird!" He managed to find one!

Just now, Aventus said:

My ma hasn't bought me socks for Christmas for a few years now.

I'm not gonna bring it up though, because if I do then socks will be the only thing I get for every Christmas for the rest of my life.

So I'm gonna be a big boy and buy my own.

Bad weirdo behaviour that. I never buy my own. Fortunately I know a lad from Kirkby

New e-cigarette, a load of chocolate and some old man PJ’s, dressing gown and slippers. All good stuff that I asked for/needed to buy anyway.

Best present though was the new snooker cue I got from the boy. Wasn’t expecting it and certainly wasn’t expecting him to put some thought into a gift and pay for it out of his own pocket. It was only a few months ago that he bought my bird a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner in a 2 for £1.50 deal at Tesco for Mother’s Day.

It also means he gets my old cue and I have to take him to play snooker more often. Clever little git.

My wife got me a Samsung galaxy tablet, a shirt and socks. Small Star Wars Lego sets from the kids. My ma got me Thom Yorke's Suspiria album on LP (guessing the wife told her) and some aftershave. My sister in laws got me tickets to see David O'Doherty. All in all I got some great gifts and I'm very grateful.

I thank the baby Jesus for being born. Well in, Jesus.

The usual socks and deoderant. Also Crochies book 'How To Be A Footballer'. Just started and it looks hilarious. On the flyleaf he talks about a player who turned up for training wearing a red suit, red top hat and specs without any lenses. Haven't got that far into the book but I think I can have a good guess who that is.
