Dalglish had the best riposte if people queried the number of penalties Liverpool used to get. He said that if we’ve got lots of players moving very fast and getting into the box time and time again, then it’s inevitable we’ll get spot kicks if the defenders aren’t good enough to cope and can’t tackle well.

BBC really pushing it

Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal

There's definitely contact on Dejan Lovren but is it enough to award a penalty? Probably not.

It's the lack of consistency which is hard to grasp. But what's football without a bit of debate? Either way, Liverpool have clearly been the better side today and the scoreline reflects that.

Arsenal's record victory over Liverpool was in 1934-35 and finished 8-1. Liverpool's record victory against Arsenal was in 1893/94 and finished 5-0. If we score 3 more we will match their record and against us and beat our own record against them.

Come on, Shaq!
