Of course it's true.  He's off to Dortmund with a 50m buy out clause.  For the sole reason that he can be shifted on again very quickly without much fuss and more dollar for Riaola.

No top team would be remotely interested in that type of deal. Hence why he's ended up at a average Dortmund team for a year or two.

The bottom line is that Man United aren't a final destination anymore. You can't leave easily because they'll pay you big wages and they don't need money, but they're shite so you'll eventually want to leave. It's the wrong club for someone like Haaland who probably fancies himself to get to the highest level of the game gradually.

He did nearly die a year or two back to be fair. His hair dryer days are long gone though

Looks like he is ignoring the doctors advice to be honest. Doesn't look well at all, although photos can be deceiving, maybes he is on the road to recovery but scars of his past are hard to remove.

Could also be down to medication and the side affects. Hard to believe he is 78, in fact it is his Birthday today....as in the 31st. I only know that because my nephew also has his Birthday on New Years Eve.

A great manager who did great for his club. I have no hard feelings against him, certainly not enough to wish him any ill will in his retirement or laugh at the guy. He's an elderly man with a great legacy. I might not have liked him base on his actions and the rivalry, but you can't let that stuff last forever. The fact that United are a pile of piss right now is enough.

I've just looked it up. In the league he is 29 wins in 56 matches.  How is it possible? They seem to drop points every week. In permanent charge he's 15 wins in 37, even that feels high!

he is there since we best them in the league in December 2018 - 41 league games.

He has won 20 of them - 49%.

As permanent manager he has won 10 of 29 in the league - 34%.

It's all bullshit anyway, anyone with eyes can see that they aren't improving.

His main problem is he loses to many, if he backed up the wins with a few draws then people could say he was doing a decent job (although we know he isn't) but losing against dross means those wins mean fuck all, otherwise the fuckers wouldn't be hoping to try and sneak a top 4 rather than cement a top 4 position. Not like they haven't spent a fortune, even if they bang on about youngsters and building for the future. That's just bullshit designed to fool the idiots.

He's a old man

Let's face it he's had a highly pressured, stressful life for years. No wonder he's paid for it. Hated him during his time with the mancs but wouldn't wish or get any pleasure of any issues he has now.

Let him enjoy his retirement watching his house built on sand crumble as that weird gaited fuck Jordan Henderson lifts a few trophies

I hated him when he was winning them trophy after trophy but Jesus what a manager.

He came down south with the goal of knocking us off our perch and building a dynasty. He did both. Contrast him with Pep who throws a tantrum and runs at the first sign of opposition.

In fairness to him, he's a great football man and you can't keep the likes of him away from going to the match. Poor fella having to sit through their shit performances though.

His problem is his lack of tactical acumen and to a lesser extent quality players.

He has one way to play which involves quick counter attacks. That's effective against good teams who leave space in behind for Rashford, Martial etc. It won't help you break down a team camped in their own area though.

They also score the least (or did until recently) amount of goals from set pieces in the league so they either aren't being imaginative enough with them or lack quality delivery.

They're a team set up to keep every game tight and sometimes that means you edge a win on the big boys. Sometimes it also means you lose to the shite. Long may it continue.
