Depends on your definition of legend of course but I've got no problem with anyone who considers Smicer and Origi to be LFC legends.  Most of their support consider him a legend.

To me a legend is someone like kenny, hunt or barnes.

Those 2 are not even in the same stratosphere.

CRapis7 is such a prick. If Ole had any balls he’d solve half his problems by fucking the preening little twat off to the U23s.

That was obviously one of the problems when they signed him.

Imagine soljaskaar giving Ronaldo instructions.

No, and I was listening to the most popular football show in France yesterday night and one of the pundits said he'd never be critical of a PSG manager ever again because it's been proven it's simply not possible to manage them. The players play when they want, they show up when they want. They truly care for about 10 games per season. Tuchel said it in an interview recently; his job there was more akin to a sports minister than coach. Whatever that means, but basically, you can't coach that team, it's the players that decide. Basically, what Pochettino is doing there isn't very relevant.

I think what Pochettino did at Spurs will always be impressive but I don't know if he can do what Tuchel did at Chelsea and take a big club to the top. He's slightly behind tactically from the very best. I still don't want him at United, though. We need them to keep going for retreads, ex-United players and coaches with no philosophy.

What show are you talking about, Stacks ?

You can’t manage PSG, the players have the power . The job is impossible. Players have direct connection with Doha.

Poch’ wanted back to Spurs in June which tells a lot : he can buy whoever he wants, he played there, and still wanted out after a couple of months.

Took Ajax to Champions League semis and when it's working well, they play really good football.

A budgies bollock away from getting to the final too.

After that run they had most of their best players bought off them, but they're now looking very strong again and playing with a distinct style, they battered Dortmund 4-0 last week.

Ten Hag has basically built two good teams in about 4 years with a net spend of about +£200m. John Henry would love him.

Yeah didn't word that very well. Conte set to be approached is what is being reported.

Apparently the mourhino experience scared them off.

They were only saying yesterday soljaskaar had brought the feel good factor back to the club.

And they are still trotting this biggest club in the world billocks.

They are that big they have a manager at the club who,no other club in the division would touch with a barge pole.

Deluded gobshites.

After Foot, after the Marseille-PSG game. Riolo said that. I think he exaggerates often and has crazy opinions sometimes but I agree there and his craziness makes the show entertaining for me haha.

Zidane seems the obvious choice. Got the best out of Ronaldo, done and won it all as a player and as a coach.

His agent has said he doesn't fancy it, apparently.

I'd be fine with Conte to be honest. In the vein of Mourinho and Van Gaal.

Ajax are coached to play like that all the way through their academy. He would probably find it difficult to replicate that at UTD before loosing his job. Their central defence is too slow to play the high line that he likes.

Think its ridiculous when people use the 'never won argument here when you look at the strength of the top 4 and the stranglehold city have over even the likes of the league cup.

Poch is a very good manager and was probally 1 or 2 players away from winning the league.

He transformed spurs.

Negged for this, and for talking nonsense. Which 1 or 2 players? Messi and Ronaldo??

Without Kane - the 1 player he had fuck all to do with - he'd have flopped big time.

Pochettino = biggest myth in football

Yes, possibly. Someone like him is a decent choice though because he has actual ideas. But yes, could he transfer them is the question.

Utd don't have the players for Pochettino or Ten Haag to succeed in the short term. Conte, on the other hand, could get a tune out of them just by reverting to what Solskjaer was doing before he started thinking he was a proper manager, namely counter attacking. Conte would have them sitting deep, maybe three at the back, and rely on Fernandes or Pogba linking up with their fast forwards. Simple, but effective.

At a club like Ajax they are always building with the idea of selling on a major asset but they is a proper football philosophy and structure. At utd he'd get none of that and once one or two of the big time Charlie's have their noses put out about having to actually work his job would become untenable.

The funny thing is they do actually need to start again and build from the ground up but their board probably don't want to admit it because "they're Man Utd" and they would have to admit they have been fucking it up for the last 9 or 10 years even going back to the latter stages of Ferguson.
