I'm sure Ole said that the Champions League games will take care of themselves, hinting they wete a formality.

Ole is at the wheel, but where is the wheel pointing now? Hopefully they don't notice.

Never ever want them lot to win, not even a school raffle but by god I want them to win this weekend and keep him at the wheel.  They might actually get a proper manager in if they sack him (even tho they don’t sack manager’s as it’s not their way apparently) and we can’t be having this. It’s so much fun watching them fall to pieces.  That first goal last night was a shocker!!!

When you look at it logically, how fucking damning is it when your biggest rival's fans are all wanting you to win just to keep your manager on. That on it's own should be the sign that you need to be ringing in the changes.

Absolutely agree.  Feels weird wanting them to win. These last 7 (??) years have been spectacular. Don't want it to end.

Would rather they draw at the weekend with a good performance. As shit as they are, I want a nice barrier from them, especially because we have our toughest game of the season on Sunday.

Their owners and fans are all about the optics rather than the substance. Ole is lucky that we are playing City this weekend because it means there is dropped points from one or maybe both of his rivals.

Ah shit, he's going to get sacked isn't he. Could this year get any worse.

Manchester United have approached Mauricio Pochettino with a view to him replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club's next manager.

The MEN understands United have made contact with Pochettino's representatives amid the team's dismal form under Solskjaer. The MEN reported last December Pochettino wants to take over as United manager and his stance on the role is not believed to have changed.

Insiders say the United hierarchy were privately backing Solskjaer prior to Wednesday night's shambolic Champions League defeat by Istanbul Basaksehir and are reluctant to part company with the Norwegian so early in the season. But if United lose at Everton on Saturday they could end the weekend 17th in the Premier League table.

United have lost three of their six league games already this term and have not lost four of their first seven in a league campaign since 1989-90. The trip to Everton is United's last game for two weeks due to the November internationals; a period that has become synonymous with top-flight sackings.

United would not have to pay Pochettino's former club Tottenham a compensation fee because the deadline passed in May. Pochettino, 48, left Spurs after five-and-a-half years last November.

United lined up Solskjaer to replace Jose Mourinho as caretaker manager in mid-October 2018 - two months before United dismissed the Portuguese on December 18.

He is an amazingly shit manager. Watching them play reminds me of when you used to play footy in the park as a kid, there was no concept of 'positions', basically everyone just went where the ball was.

Not arsed if they get Pochettino to be honest, again he's a typical manc signing - flavour of the month rather than what they might actually need. They're like a 90s football fan talking football but not understanding anything about football.

"How about that Romario eh? and the '442', can't beat a bit of 442'.

I'll laugh if Pochettino goes to PSG. Apparently Tuchel is meeting the owners today.

Man puts are a complete shit show and PSG would give him the chance to win a load of trophies with unlimited money. Also if he hangs on until the summer, Barca, Real Madrid, Inter, Juventus and Man City may all replace their managers.

If the MEN know that the Mancs have approached Pochettino then the game is up for Crackle,  fucking shame though I thought he might hang on a bit to cause more damage .

If Pochettino has given the nod to taking over then this will be his last game,  the situation is virtually identical to when Klopp took over they won't fire him before lining up his replacement.

Yeah I imagine they had Pochettino lined up in the summer but he wanted a few months or they needed Solksjaer to fuck up and give them an excuse. No coincidence that Pochettino was on MNF this week.

I still maintain Pochettino fully expected to sign for them at the end of the 2018/2019 season, but fuckwits that the likes of Woodward are, Solsjkear’s early form bounced them into giving him it full-time having mistaken a run of new manager wins for the Ferguson years 2.0.

The answer is clear; don't lose to Everton.
