Didnt Ferguson fall out with the previous owners over a racehorse and they ended up selling to the Glazers?

 

Buzzed off this manc in work when he decided he didn't like the Glazers in 2007 (co included with us getting to another CL final). He decided he wasnt going to OT anymore and started going to FC United games. The year after they won the European Cup and Premier league so he gets his season ticket back off some fella down his road and starts going again. So his protest only involved loaning his season ticket out for one season but gegs back in once they win the 2 most important trophies.

There are still two in my work, one wont discuss football at all and said he doesn't like it anymore. Was shitting himself last year when we were pushing City all the way. Stayed off sick for a week after we won the CL. 

 

He was like that all last season saying Mourinho was destroying the club. When Solskjaer won that game against PSG him and the other Manc in work sat together the next day going on about them all day. It was like watching MUTV. They got back in their box when Barcelona twatted them in the next round.

Almost. His racing partners had become the largest shareholders, so when the horse ownership spat occurred, they tried to have Ferguson sacked and the board responded by looking for investors to water down their influence. A few years later, the Glazers emerged.

In fairness I have a United fan mate who's ridiculously objective. He won a lookalikes contest for looking like ruud van nistelrooy years ago and walked out onto the pitch before their opening game against Bolton in 2003.

He ended up in some bar in Manchester with the ryan Giggs lookalike. Kevin Davies was in their pissed up and smoking but everyone ignored him thin

When we won in 2005 he was gutted as he said it was the best final ever, earlier this season he tipped us to win the league. He knows their shit now.

Dunno to be honest. But he's been there 3 windows and got 3 players, slabhead, wan bissaka and that little diving Welsh cunt. To get them they sold Lukaku and got loads of wages off the books with the likes of Herrera and Valencia, plus of course they got rid of a percentage of Sanchez's wages. I'm not saying he hasn't spent, but he's had to make an effort to balance the books.
