Someone's having a real laugh - sperm of gollum to Utd.

He really does fawn over Fergie too much, constantly calling him "the gaffer"

It's brilliant.

I'm dreading the day the bastards come to their senses and get organized from top to bottom. In the meantime I'm loving the state of them.

I fear a downside of us winning the league would be them sorting their shit out through fear of us regaining the perch.

I'll still take the risk of us winning the league!

While a part of me thinks that is him humbly giving his old boss respect, it highlights why he will be a failure. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and need a manager who has a ruthless streak to deal with all the egos. The balmy night of 99 means fuck all to nearly all the players there, so you can only give that team talk so many times.

Fucks sake - pass me the sick bucket.

Should have posted this in here not the other thread:

The best bit is United fans, including Neville the other night, saying this downturn is a good thing because the size of the job now becomes obvious to everyone re managing expectations.

Well, yeah, of course. But here’s the thing, Solskjaer is a million miles away from being qualified for that sort of job. He was given the role on the basis Mourinho had dragged them all down beneath their level by playing stultifying football and now here was someone who understood the soul and culture of the club liberating them.

This recent reality check of a total

rebuild still being required makes him being the man appointed to do that job hilarious. Good luck approaching transfers and squad building in 2019 using the Ferguson blueprint, as you have absolutely everything else so far.

They’ll just send Ferguson to fire him and he’ll return the wages they’ve already paid him in deference.

Ha it’s great this, no matter how you look at it. I’d post that giff of Michael Jackson eating pop corn but it seems a bit creepy these days, like it was from a more innocent time.

I think people might start asking questions soon around whether the former Molde FK and Cardiff manager is really capable of managing at the top level...

Yah but not before a magnificently brave draw at home to shitty.

Apparently 4 of Man Utd’s back 5 tonight started against Basel in 2011 when they were knocked out in the group stage.

De Gea, Smalling, Jones, Young

All started, but I think Jones and Young were in midfield.
