Carra and Neville are really good, I actually look forward to when they’re both on MNF as it’s superb viewing. I’ve never enjoyed watching people talk about football as much as I do them, on a regular basis.

I don’t always agree with them and at times I strongly disagree with some of their stuff but that’s par for the course of being a football fan.

As a footy fan though, I appreciate the lengths they go to, to explain stuff and add insight, injecting a bit of humour along the way.

Great TV for me.

I don't mind them as pundits giving detailed analysis like you said.

But when they are on commentary they are two of the most irritating cunts going, proper do my head in.

Great to go into the footballing weekend with our business done.

It just pumps up the pressure doesn't it.

I think I'd give me left bollock just to see city and the rest just slowly drift off now.

I couldn't be arsed with one of these final day dramas, I just want to win the league, and by a fucking canter as well.

Batter Newcastle on Stephen's day. Then give arsenal an almighty bumming.

Then just sneak the luckiest 1 nil against city would be great.

Come on santa, just do this one thing for us!!

I still think City are massive favourites. If they end our unbeaten run, I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up needing to win every remaining game in order to pip them.

I think they're probably favourites still, but they're not massive favourites any more.

The thing is, even if they get 95 points, we might get 98. Unless one of us has some sort of collapse, it's going to be the highest points total for a second-placed team by miles and miles. So they have to be unbelievably good to win it.

Now, they might be unbelievably good. I mean, they were last season, and their underlying numbers look like they are again this season. Which is why they're favourites. But they might just be excellent, instead of historically brilliant, and if that's the case we can and will have a chance.

The best public numbers site out there, fivethirtyeight, has us on 46% to win the league as it stands.

I very rarely ever go to Bluemoon, because they’re so toxic. They’re like the CSGO community of football. But I’d already had a look at redcafe (praise is generally, talk about how good VVD is, etc), and GOT (generally fucked off that we are quite good and that it looks as though we could challenge for the league),  so I thought I’d take a look.

Holy fuck. It’s almost unbelievable. They’re even worse than the Chelsea fans of 2005. Probably the same fans to be fair. He utter virtriol and hatred with which they talk about is a sight to behold. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that from any other fan base. They’re fucking clueless too, but that’s standard.

In the space of a few pages, aside from profession we are lucky, a one man team, our keeper is absolute shit, VVD is overrated, we were lucky because wolves were so much better, they also called us thieves, murders, racists, dippers, candle wavers, and that we play at Klanfield.

Now, I don’t want to jump the gun but I don’t think they like us. They’re basically Everton with unlimited funds.

It's certainly been a brilliant season so far.

There used to be a feeling of if we don't score within the first 10 minutes it's going to be difficult which then moved to within the first 40-50minutes. Following that we'd have moments where we could allow teams back into the game around 80-90minutes and be fearful of corners/set pieces. This season is anything but that - it's calm, composed and even if we went 1-0 down at HT, you know we'll turn the screw eventually and that could be on 70th min or the 90+6th minute. There's been the odd game were we've been gash but over the entire of the season, we're looking like we've yet to come out of 3rd gear.

We're now in a position of setting the pace rather than chasing City. I'm interested to see the mettle of this team now they can drive themselves to the title with City on their tail.

Drink in their hate and bile, their pain and torture.

Their successes come from our failures as they get nothing but torment from their own club and now nothing but torment from us. What a time to be alive!

They haven't won a game since they put a blue light on the Liver Birds, they're cursed now.

Bluemoon's a City fan site Kev, not Everton- although as pointed out above, City are basically Everton with cash.

They have a 67 page thread on that match last night. The bitterness is really quite something.

Fuck it. I’m glad we smashed up their bus. The knobheads.

I swear to God I've just read on there that Klopp "actively encouraged the coach attacks".
