That was a good result. Some thoughts and stuff...

  • Fab was fab. Bossed the midfield. Quick with the passing. Decent in the air. Good at closing down.
  • Gini was awful.
  • Atkinson is unfit to referee. Shithouse - gives safe decisions over correct ones. Can't control timewasters.
  • Mo was marked out of the game. Fair play to whoever that was.
  • At the end of the game Rashford walked all the way to the Utd fans and applauded them for a reasonable time. Fair fucks to him. he was the only one.
  • At the end of the game Kloppo was fist pumping to the Kop. Three Utd players were watching agog. Open mouthed. Thinking what the fuck sort of manager gets right amongst the players; enjoying the game with them and demonstrating passion.
  • Andy Robbo. Worra fucking player. Worra set of lungs.
  • They still sang songs about tragedies. We did not.

Probably the worst match report I’ve ever read.

http://global.espn.com/soccer/blog/the-match/60/post/3727842/xherdan-shaqiri-and-liverpool-overcome-alissons-mistake-to-add-to-man-uniteds-woe

“Liverpool's win was hard-earned, however, with Klopp's team unable to display the free-flowing attacking football that has defined their season.”

“Liverpool have had a series of error-prone goalkeepers over the years, and Alisson may yet add his name to those of David James, Jerzy Dudek, Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius."

And he dedicated a whole section titled “Lingard proves his worth”

Thought Gini was very tidy, and played a big role in keeping control of the midfield. Statistically he was very good too; most touches, best pass completion rate, most key passes.

He’s playing it a bit like a target man as opposed to like an Owen or Fowler who constantly tried to find space in the box to score. I just think he’s better running into space than trying to hold a grock off to play someone else in.

I disagree, he's looking to receive the ball, commit the defender so he can then play it back and spin in behind.  Also, with defenders like Lindelöf and Bailly, you want to be giving them plenty of nudges because they lose their composure.  He played it 100% right today, a real selfless performance from him.

Manc cunt. Two “ errors “ were fouls for the keeper.
