1. Robertson. Harkens back to when we always had a Scot in the squad. Excellent both defensively and offensively. Has bought into what Klopp is selling. Was an absolute steal in today’s transfer market - literally. Nearly quit football after early setbacks but is now the best LB in the PL. And seems to be as good a guy off the pitch as he is on it.

 

2. Van Dijk. Imperious. No need to say anything else.

 

3. Milner. Consumate professional and decent guy all around. Sly sense of humour on social media and the best free advert Ribena have ever had.

  

Honourable mentions for Salah - who appears to be a very grounded and humble man - and Mane, who seems to be the happiest bloke in football with a smile always on his face.

You could've praised Robertson a bit more, but apart from that you saved me the trouble. Great post.

Robertson. Must be on everyone’s list? Proper old fashioned pro that people can relate to, unlike the many academy graduate types.

Mane. Great player we relied on for a season! Now he’s a great player in a team.
